  I-O DATA Japan ha anunciado su nueva grabadora portable Blu-ray BRP-US6, que puede grabar a un máximo de 6x este tipo de discos. Está basada (remarcada) en la Sony Optiarc BD-5730S y se puede alimentar tanto por el puerto USB al que esté conectada o con el adaptador AC incluido con la misma.
Se espera que esté disponible a mediados de diciembre en Japón a un precio recomendado de 29.600 Yenes, unos 225 Euros al cambio.
