  SanDisk Corporation acaba de lanzar al mercado la SanDisk Extreme® SDHC, que es la SDHC de 32 GB más rápida del mercado, con una velocidad máxima de 30 MB/s tanto en lectura como escritura.
Esta tarjeta está enfocada especialmente al mercado de cámaras DSLR, donde es necesaria una gran velocidad de escritura para almacenar imágenes en RAW de muy alta resolución, permitiendo almacenar hasta 2500 imágenes en este formato (cada imagen RAW ocupa bastante más que la equivalente en JPEG, ya que no están comprimidas). SanDisk garantiza su funcionamiento en un amplio rango de temperaturas, que van desde los -25º C hasta los 85º C.
